The Little Blue Barn is a home staging and interior styling business serving Monument, Palmer Lake, and the greater Tri-Lakes area of Colorado. Founder Karen Palmer brings thoughtful design, a collector’s eye, and a practical approach to homes throughout the region. Her design background began in childhood, watching her mother create floral arrangements for weddings, and grew into a business that started with a single hand-painted bench built from an old headboard.

As a military spouse and mother of two, Karen understands the realities of relocating on tight timelines and getting homes market-ready with little notice. That perspective shapes her approach to every project — practical, family-aware, and focused on results, not just aesthetics.

The Little Blue Barn offers a full range of home staging services (occupied staging, pre-listing consultations, vacant staging for realtor partners, and builder model styling) as well as interior styling services (room refresh, design boards, color consultations, and furniture and statement-piece sourcing). A retail storefront featuring curated home décor, vintage finds, and one-of-a-kind pieces is coming soon, along with pop-up events and Vintage Market Days.
