Join the fun on Saturday, October 26, at the 16th annual Creepy Crawl 5K. The “spooky themed” race starts at the Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area. Head down the scenic Santa Fe Trail for 1.1 miles, then turn back and finish with a lap around Palmer Lake. This is sure to be a fun day for everyone! The Kids Monster Dash Fun Run is free and for kids 12 and under. It’s one fun lap around Palmer Lake (0.8 miles). Costumes and “Spirit” wear encouraged! All proceeds from the Creepy Crawl 5k benefit the YMCA and provide support to a family or individual in need.
Furry Friends are welcome to run with their human friend who is registered for the 5k! Furry Friends must be leashed, current on shots, and well behaved. Human friend must pick up after Furry Friends. Furry friends will receive a Creepy Crawl 5K bandana and a treat! All Furry Friends must run in the Furry Friend wave. Don’t worry, your time starts when you cross the starting line and ends when you cross the finish line. When registering for your run make sure you find the Furry Friend add on for $15.
