The second annual Calhan Country Christmas lights up the El Paso County Fair and Events Center (366 10th St., Calhan) on December 14th in Calhan. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. There is no admission charge, but guests are encouraged to bring one non-perishable food donation per person to support the Eastern Plains Pantry. See Santa and his reindeer, a live nativity, carolers, vendors, concessions, live music and the Calhan Parade of Lights (beginning at 7:00 p.m.).
