In the summer months, up to 50% of a residential home’s water use is outdoor irrigation. Water is a non-renewable resource that will only become more expensive over time. Maintaining a landscape affordably and responsibly in our area means making wise choices in how we design and irrigate our landscapes. Water-wise landscaping doesn’t mean a conversion to a lifeless gravel yard. This course will help you create a smart, classy landscape using less water.
The town of Monument invites you to a free informational course at the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce (166 Second St., Monument) on March 5 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and March 13 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. to register for the class, visit http://townofmonument.org/488/Gardening-and-Landscape-Classes.
