The Cripple Creek Ice Festival is a spectacular event. Come watch ice sculptors carve ice into beautiful works of art that will amaze you. The Cripple Creek Ice Festival features numerous fun events to enjoy during the weekend event from February 8 until February 16. The ice carvers will slowly carve their designs and each weekend visitors will be able to vote for the carving they think is the best. Visitors are welcome to view the carvings during the week of February 10-14 but vendors will only be present during the weekend. The sculptures will be lit up at night for those who would like to visit in the evening! Sculptures will remain up on Bennett Ave. until February 28 if the weather is cool.
There will be additional parking at the Heritage Center northeast of town on Highway 67, and a shuttle service to the event on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
