This ticketed event will feature local restaurants and other food related businesses showing off their creativity and will be extra special as they celebrate their 40-year anniversary. \nModeled after the Food Network’s television show “Chopped”\, chefs from local restaurants\, catering companies\, food trucks and other food related businesses will test their skills and create small bites for sampling based on ingredients from the Tri-Lakes Cares pantry. These are the same ingredients that clients choose when “shopping” in our Market. \nWhile you enjoy sampling and mingling\, you will have the opportunity to play games which highlight a program or service that Tri-Lakes Cares provides in our local community – “Pin the Bandage on the Thumb” to highlight the Neighborhood Nurse Center or “Balance Beam” to showcase the STABLe program (curious? Attend and learn more!). \nMidway through the event\, there’s a break for a short program to share stories of people impacted by the help provided by Tri-Lakes Cares and supported by you. They’ll also offer a vision for future plans – where will we go for the next 40 years?
