This great republic has weathered many tests. The three branches of government (Executive\, Legislative and Judicial) armed with a constitution that values and promotes freedom\, has fostered vigorous (and at times violent) debate. Even though our trials have been many\, our accomplishments have often been the envy of the world. Leadership of the free world is a daunting task. Our founders and our constitution equip us to face the future with optimism and enthusiasm. Let us be resolved to treat our past with the dignity it deserves and our future with the compassion and serious commitment to improvement that it demands. \nFor the Children’s Parade there is no entry fee/registration.  All children are welcomed\, and parents may accompany their children.
