This is the most important shopping day of the year for our local economy. Shopping and dining at locally owned businesses may not seem like such a big deal\, but the economic impact is vitally important to the economic health of our town.  \nSmall Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses and communities across the country and is part of the larger Shop Small Movement. Founded by American Express in 2010\, this day is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving in the U.S. \nChristmas Stroll in Old Colorado City \nKick off the holiday season with a special evening in Old Colorado City\, Colorado Avenue & 25th Street in Colorado Springs on Saturday\, November 30\, 5:00-8:00 p.m.
